Our Compact Pods are a modern, sleek, fully equipped kitchen. Designed with space saving in mind, Inside you’ll find everything you need to prepare meals and cook. There’s a full size induction hob, electric oven, sink with hot & cold running water, a fridge and your choice of a dishwasher or a washing machine. Plenty of cupboards and worktops. To save on space, there’s no table and chairs in The Compact Pod.

With your comfort in mind, all our Temporary Kitchen Pods are insulated, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature in all seasons. For the colder months, you’ll find a thermostat controlled programmable heater.

For your safety and peace of mind, all our Temporary Kitchen Pods are insured. They have fire safety equipment, a non slip floor, are lockable and come with a Welcome Pack containing instruction manuals & user guides.

Installation Requirements

We’ll need to site the Pod on a private driveway or similar. It can sit on tarmac, block paving, gravel or hard standing. If you would like it sited on grass, please tell us at time of booking. The Compact Pod measures 4.6m in length x 2.3m in width. Your driveway will need to be big enough to accommodate the Pod, allowing extra room for the door at the rear, the step, access around the Pod and space to manoeuver it into position.

The electrics in The Compact Pod are powered via 3 x power leads. We’ll just need 3 x 13 standard plug sockets to plug into. These can be either inside or outside of the property. Ideally these should be within 25m of where the Pod will be sited. If they are further away, please let us know at time of booking.

The water is piped to the Pod via an outside tap, usually where your garden hose pipe is connected. Ideally the outside tap should be within 25m of where the Pod will be sited. If it's further away, please let us know at time of booking.

The waste water is taken away from the Pod via waste pipe. We’ll need to discharge it into a drain, gulley, man hole or soak away, ideally within 10m of where the Pod will be sited. If its more than 10m we will need to know before booking. We will also need to know if the drain is situated uphill from where the Pod will be sited.
